Chum

You are wondering how I am catching all these Snapper when no one else is???

Well here is my secret.
This is the chum you want to use..Pride of Virginia.

If you notice when you open the box this chum has a color and odor of no other chum.
I usually use about two boxes of chum per evening to catch my Snapper. We have been catching Gag, Black and Red Groupers but they are a couple of inches short so we have to release them.

What a mess of fish...

Here is a bunch of Yellowtail and Mangro Snappers.

We all will be eating well the next few days!

Mess of Yellowtails

This time we caught a mess of Yellowtail Snapper. I was two short of the limit but it was still a good meal and I didn't have to go to the Key's to catch them.

Jim and the Sailfish

I hooked this Sailfish and Jim reeled him in. Jim had a good time reeling this one in on 15 lb test line.

After a quick photo we released him for the next fisherman!

Jim and the Mutton Snapper

This is just one of many snappers that we caught this evening...

Trying to catch your limit of 10 of these is difficult.

The start of 2007 catching Snapper

Most of these Snapper were caught late in the afternoon. Bruce, Jim and I went out at the Boca inlet and fished north of Palm Beach. We caught some Kingfish in the afternoon too. You can be sure you will get at least one Kingfish.

When it got dark we anchored up and caught another five Snapper that were keepers.
