You are never too old to catch your first Sailfish!

Sometimes when fishing for Grouper dropping your bait towards the bottom the Sailfish thinks it is an injured bait. They think it's a free meal.

I took him north of the Boca inlet to one of my Grouper and Snapper honey holes. We did catch several Red Grouper but he really got excited when he hooked that Sailfish. The fish immediately went straight out from the boat. The way the fish was fighting in the water I knew it was either a Wahoo, Shark or Sailfish. Once I saw the tailfin come out of the water I knew he had a Sailfish.
