Chris with a Spanish Mackerel

Here is Chris with his Spanish Mackerel. We were fishing about 3 miles offshore from Islamorada. We were drifting using a dead ballyhoo on the surface when the fish attacked the bait. As the fish was taking the line Chris engaged the reel and set the hook. He fought the fish for about 10 minutes before WildBill gaffed the fish onboard the boat.

Chris took this one back to Tennessee along with the Kingfish that he caught. I am sure he will be back soon to go fishing again. He had lots of fun!
